Ongoing social service involvement is a requirement for participation in the Bill Payer Program.  Since 2007, more than 50 agencies have referred clients for Bill Payer volunteer services.  These include case management agencies, NORC’s, long-term home health programs, services for the visually impaired, agencies serving people with disabilities, legal aid offices and senior center staff. 
 
To make a referral, complete the attached Referral Form and return to the Bill Payer Program by mail, FAX or email.  A social worker will contact you to discuss your client’s needs and preferences.  The Bill Payer Program does not call clients without first speaking with the referring worker.
 
We recommend reviewing program Eligibility Requirements  to make sure your client qualifies.  Bill Payer Program clients must fall within income and asset guidelines, sign their own checks and be able to make their own financial decisions.
